Not a recreation nor a modern interpretation. The Jude preamp features the exact circuit that made those consoles legendary.
During the golden age of British recording, Sound Techniques became one of the most respected names in console design, with its hand-built desks installed in iconic studios including Trident, De Lane Lea, Sunset Sound, and Elektra Sound Recorders.
The Jude preamp features the exact Sound Techniques “A-Range” console circuit, including Geoff Frost's original Z-Match impedance control that lets engineers shape the interaction between microphone and preamp, that helped define the sound of countless classic records, including sessions for The Beatles' "Hey Jude," the song that gave this preamp its name.
For the first time, it's now made available to all.
