Hi, Iโm Miltonnett Sibanda. ๐๐ฝ
I hold an NQF Level 7 qualification in Human Resources, an NQF Level 8 in Project Management, and Iโm currently studying towards a Bachelor of Information Technology in Business Systems.
On paper, those qualifications may sound impressive. But behind the qualifications, the titles and the education, Iโm a single mother. And being a mother has taught me something that no qualification ever could.
When I look at my little boy, I feel two things at the same time:
Love. โค๏ธ
Because he is my whole heart.
And responsibility.
Because Iโm responsible for helping create the life he will have
School fees.
Food.
Clothes.
A safe and stable home.
Opportunities.
Experiences.
His future.
As mothers, we don't always have the luxury of simply giving up when things get difficult.
Even when we're tired.
Even when money is tight.
Even when we're uncertain about what comes next.
For a long time, I believed that education and employment were the safest way to build a future.
And they are important. But I eventually realised something: Having one source of income can leave you with very few options. I didn't want to spend my life simply trying to make ends meet.
I wanted options.
I wanted the ability to create additional income.
I wanted more flexibility.
I wanted to experience more.
I wanted to give my son more.
And I wanted to build something that belonged to me.
So I made a very intentional decision that I would build additional income streams alongside my professional journey. Today, I'm building through product based businesses in fragrance, wellness and lifestyle. But for me, it's bigger than selling products. I'm learning how to build a business, develop people, create leaders and use the tools available to me including my smartphone to create additional income. And I'm putting the skills I've gained through HR, Project Management and my ongoing studies into practice in a completely different way.
Because I believe employment and entrepreneurship can coexist. I believe you can start small without thinking small. And I believe you don't have to have everything figured out before you start.
This little boy is one of my biggest motivations, My WHY !โค๏ธ
But I'm also doing this for me. Because I deserve growth. I deserve opportunities.I deserve to experience more. And I deserve to see what I'm capable of building.
