πβ¨ Recipe of the Day: Air Fryer Bang Bang Chicken Wings with Sticky Rice ππ₯
Crispy, golden wings that go bang with every bite! Tossed in a sweet-n-spicy sauce and served with coconut-infused sticky rice β this oneβs a crowd-pleaser youβll want on repeat.

π Ingredients
For the chicken:
12β14 chicken wings, split at the joints (tips removed)
1 Tbsp (15ml) baking powder
1 Tbsp (15ml) onion powder
1 Tbsp (15ml) garlic powder
1 tsp (5ml) chilli flakes
Salt & milled pepper
For the Bang Bang sauce:
Β½ cup (125ml) mayonnaise
3 Tbsp (45ml) sriracha sauce πΆοΈ
1Β½ Tbsp (23ml) sweet chilli sauce
1 Tbsp (15ml) honey π―
1 tsp (5ml) rice vinegar (optional, but adds zing)
For the rice:
1 cup (210g) long grain or jasmine rice
1 cup (250ml) water
Β½ cup (125ml) coconut milk π₯₯
Salt, to taste
For serving:
Toasted sesame seeds
Sliced spring onion
Sliced red chilli (optional, for extra fire π₯)
π©βπ³ Method
Spice it up: Add chicken, baking powder, onion powder, garlic powder, chilli flakes, salt & pepper into a bowl. Toss until every wing is coated and ready to fly.
Crisp it up: Air fry at 180Β°C for 12β14 mins, flipping halfway, until wings are golden, crisp, and irresistible.
Mix the magic: Combine all sauce ingredients in a bowl (mayo, sriracha, sweet chilli, honey, rice vinegar). Stir until smooth, creamy, and spicy-sweet.
Get the rice soaking: In a dish that fits your air fryer, add rice, water, coconut milk & salt. Soak for at least 30 minutes.
Cook the rice: Cover with foil and air fry at 180Β°C for 25 mins. Fluffy, fragrant perfection.
Coat & serve: Toss the crispy wings in the bang bang sauce. Sprinkle with sesame seeds, spring onion & chilli. Serve hot with that dreamy coconut rice.
