🚨 COUNTERFEIT FOOD ALERT IN JOBURG CBD 🚨

JMPD has uncovered a disturbing operation where expired food products were allegedly being re-labelled and placed back into circulation.

Authorities say expired items, including yoghurt and juice products, were found inside a building in the Johannesburg CBD - along with suspected stolen municipal electrical cables.

⚠️ Residents are urged to be extra cautious when buying food from informal or unregulated vendors. Always check packaging, expiry dates and report suspicious activity.
