Bhek’zizwe - Thungisani 🇿🇦 Thungisani—a Zulu word meaning which means "Sow back together" Rather in the context of the song it means bring on your designer traditional regalia for a celebratory occasion" —Thungisani is a deeply spiritual and politically resonant album. A call to awareness, readiness, and cultural grounding, the project is Bhek’zizwe’s most expansive work to date. It features 11 tracks recorded in Johannesburg South Africa in Bhek’zizwe signature scratchy voice, Acoustic guitar and emotive lyricism.

Bhek’zizwe is a genre-defying South African musician rooted in storytelling and cultural preservation through sound. Blending the earthy depth of Afro Folk, the spiritual uplift of Gospel, the soul of Reggae, and the improvisational flair of Jazz, Bhek’zizwe crafts music that speaks to both ancestral memory and present-day resilience, he defines it as Culture meets urban music.

15-year-old aspiring actress, Reneiloe Mathebula, has been selected as the first South African to attend the Universal Actors Sessions in Los Angeles. Fresh from her recent visit to New York City, where the young star attended the IMTA (International Modeling and Talent Association) convention, Reneiloe Mathebula’s quest for stardom is ablaze.

An overjoyed Reneiloe explains, ‘Being called up on stage when I won Top 10 Best Actress, among young talent from different parts of the world, was the most memorable moment for me. I realized I finally did it. This is all I have ever wanted. The whole world is my oyster now and I am proud of myself.”

She concludes, “It doesn’t matter how many no’s you get, you just need to trust God’s timing.”
