HPH Publishing

HPH Publishing HPH Publishing is a boutique South African company specializing in premium photographic books. www.hphpublishing.co.za

HPH Publishing was founded by Heinrich van den Berg (www.heinrichvandenberg.com), Philip van den Berg and Ingrid van den Berg. They are well-known wildlife photographers who started the publishing out of the need to be able to show their images in the best possible way. Since 2003 HPH Publishing has published more than 30 books. Heinrich van den Berg is an international award-winning wildlife pho

tographer, as well as being an accomplished writer and publisher. Based in Johannesburg, South Africa, Heinrich is well known for pushing the boundaries of photography to create explosive images that are as beautiful as they are emotive. To achieve such presence through the visual medium, Heinrich is in essence a thinking photographer. He travels extensively in search of unique images – always with an eye for the unusual and a new perspective on the known world. Through the lens he captures evocative moments in time, which leave lasting impressions through the pages of his carefully crafted books. In 1998 Heinrich left his profession as a civil engineer to follow his passion and work full time as a wildlife photographer. In order to portray his images as accurately as possible to readers, he acquired all the necessary book-publishing skills and, together with Philip and Ingrid van den Berg, established HPH Publishing in 2001. Husband and wife award-winning photographers Philip and Ingrid van den Berg share a love of Africa and all its facets. It is their passion to capture unique moments in nature and share these with readers, through the pages of their wildlife books. Based in Pietermaritzburg in KwaZulu-Natal, Philip and Ingrid have transformed a love of photography into a full-time ‘hobby’, with several acclaimed wildlife books to their credit. With their extensive knowledge of the natural world coupled with their scientific backgrounds, they are an integral part of the HPH team of photographers and writers.

Let Elephants Roam is a stunning coffee table book with real heart — and a powerful message.

Written by the late Rudi van Aarde, a leading voice for Africa’s savanna elephants, it’s a hopeful, thought-provoking look at how these giants can thrive with us, not in spite of us.

It’s beautiful. It’s bold. It belongs on your shelf.
