Kruger National Park closed to day visitors amid heavy flooding in Limpopo, Mpumalanga

The Letaba rest camp is under water. Persistent and heavy rainfall affecting Limpopo and Mpumalanga has led to South African National Parks (SANParks) taking a precautionary decision to temporarily suspend day visitor access to the Kruger National Park until conditions improve.

New details have emerged in the murder investigation of DJ Warras, linking Victor Majola and his girlfriend to events surrounding the killing.

According to information presented, it has been revealed that Majola’s girlfriend resides in the same building, Zambesi House, where DJ Warras was killed. Majola has admitted that his girlfriend provided him with the number plate of the vehicle that allegedly transported them from the building. The same vehicle is said to be the one DJ Warras was travelling in on the day he was killed.

Majola’s girlfriend is reportedly one of six individuals against whom DJ Warras had previously filed a protection order.

Majola has claimed that on the day of the murder, he was in Soweto repairing his car. However, lead investigator Captain Abe Montwedi disputes this version, stating that CCTV footage places Majola in the company of the alleged shooter approximately 45 minutes before DJ Warras was killed.

The investigating officer further alleges that Majola and his girlfriend fled to Soweto following the incident.

Police also claim that Majola’s phone contained details of the vehicle used by DJ Warras, including the address of the vehicle’s owner, and that these details were sent to Majola by his girlfriend.

The investigation is ongoing.

DJ Warras Shot Dead in Johannesburg Amid
Eviction Duty

South African DJ and media personality Warwick Stock, known as DJ Warras , died in an apparent shooting in Johannesburg.

Reports indicate he was handling security at a building during an eviction of illegal occupants when a vehicle drove by and opened fire.

A Durban native, he built a career on YFM radio, club stages, TV including Mzansi Magic's Ngicel'iVisa, and his VIP security firm.
