It keeps coming... looking back on the last 10 years and the amount of jazz not jazz music that has been created in the UK is something to be mad proud of, specially on the back of practically no funding....The scene has always been here though and never failed to give... seriously - there was always something exciting going on... but right now the fruits of the last 30 years are really shining... every week another brilliant project comes out. It’s not the same as American Jazz , it’s a different DNA , but it’s fast finding its unique character, confidence and personality. I’m a huge fan and his ‘run outs’ tune has to be one of the best instrumentals of the year... really glad to get my hands on the album!
