There are battles the world will never know I fought. The kind that left no scars anyone could see. The nights I held myself together while everything inside me was falling apart. The mornings I smiled as if nothing had happened. Some victories are invisible because they happen in silence.
People often celebrate the moments they can witness, but the greatest courage is usually hidden. It is choosing to keep going when no one is cheering for you. It is carrying the weight without asking anyone to carry it for you. It is losing parts of yourself, yet refusing to lose your kindness, your hope, or your faith.
So if I walk a little slower today, or value peace more than proving myself, it is because I know what it took to get here. I have survived storms that never made a sound. And while the world may never know the battles I fought alone, I will always remember the strength it took to win them.
