A man with four wives had a peculiar dynamic in his relationships. He cherished his fourth wife the most, taking exceptional care of her and providing her with the finest things. His third wife was also loved, but he had reservations about showcasing her to his friends, fearing she might leave him for another man. His second wife was a source of comfort and guidance during difficult times.

Conversely, he did not reciprocate the deep love and loyalty his first wife had for him, despite her unwavering dedication. When the man fell gravely ill and sensed his impending demise, he resolved to have one of his wives accompany him in death. He asked his fourth wife to join him, but she flatly refused. His third wife declined as well, stating her intention to remarry after his passing.

His second wife expressed her inability to join him, offering only to es**rt him to his grave. By this point, the man's heart had grown cold. Then, a frail voice spoke up, saying, "I will leave with you. I will follow you wherever you go." The man looked up to see his first wife, her malnourished appearance filling him with remorse. "I should have taken better care of you," he lamented.
