[00:01] We’re the old souls, the last good men.
[00:43] Nowadays, what you are matters a lot more than what you’ve done, your skills, your personality, if you’re a kind and good person. What I’m talking about is this sickening focus on the race gender, sexuality. And we are seeing it everywhere. I understand that people like myself (straight white males) are supposed to be ashamed of our existence. And we must be ridiculed on a daily basis in the media.
[02:22] But this goes much deeper than just ridiculing straight white males.
[03:16] Oliver Anthony’s lyric “old soul living in a new world” says it all, because that’s how a lot of us feel. We are old souls in a world moving towards something we don’t like, something we don’t want to even relate to. I’m 51 now, and I grew up in a very different society. We had no cellphones. We were out in the woods playing, making spears, bows, and arrows … acting like little savages. It was great fun. Now things are very different. Things have changed not entirely for the better. It’s gotten to the point now where people like myself are asking: What’s the point? Why would I stay here? What’s in it for me?
[06:47] At some point people like us, the old souls will start leaving. We will detach from modern society. We will turn our backs on whatever is going on there, and live our own life.
[07:29] I have a question for the politically correct people who believe that someone’s sexuality should matter more than their skills or personality. What are you going to do when we have left? When all the old souls, the hardworking people, the people who just wanted to be left alone … When we have left, what are you going to do? I hope you realise we are the ones paying the taxes. We will not be there to fight your stupid wars. We will not be there to finance your ridiculous lifestyles.
[09:10] If this continues, eventually all the good men will be gone. It’s something that we hear modern women say a lot: “Where have all the good man gone.” I can tell you they were there all along until one day they decided they had enough. So all the good men will be gone eventually. And my question is what kind of society do you think you will be left with?
[10:30] You see those of us who might be called the old souls, we know what a good life is. Out here in nature is where a good life can be found.
[11:27] I want to end this video, with a few words for those people who think that men like us have no place in the modern world. One day we will be gone and then maybe you will realise that we brought something positive to this world. Maybe you will realise that we were not the cause of your problems. And maybe you will even miss us.
