The AudioRoom is proud to once again be part of the brilliant and spectacular Universe on Stage — this time alongside the Johannesburg Philharmonic Orchestra for their new production, The Blackhole Symphony.

We’ve been entrusted with the multitrack recording of the performance, as well as sound reinforcement for all three shows.
A huge thank you goes out to Jan van Zyl from Joyful Audio Engineering for coming alongside The AudioRoom on this project.

🎥 LIVE from the South African Pipe Band Champs 2025! 🎶

This past weekend, The AudioRoom had the incredible honour of handling all audio production and the first-ever live stream of the South African Pipe Band Championships 2025, hosted at the iconic St Benedict's College.

From ensuring every bands performance sounded as amazing as it looked
to managing the live feed to hundreds of viewers, our team brought the thunder of the pipes to both on-site audiences and fans watching from home! 📡

This event wouldn't have been possible without the dedication of our exceptional crew:

🟣 AVID Art of Sound 2025 🟣

The AudioRoom team took the day to attend The Art of Sound 2025 training event hosted by Avid Pro Audio - South Africa and Rocket Science.

The day was filled with workflow insight, knowledge sharing and catching up with our industry colleagues.

Congratulations to the AVID and Rocket science team for putting together such a fantastic event.

🌌🪐 Project Spotlight — The Universe on Stage - Hidden Giants 🪐🌌

We’re proud to have been part of the incredible production of Universe On Stage!

Our team had the privilege of providing sound design in Dolby Atmos, creating an immersive audio experience that carried audiences through the vastness of space and time. From deep cosmic textures to soaring sonic explosions, we aimed to make every sound feel as expansive and awe-inspiring as the universe itself.

In addition to the sound design, we pulled in to tackle all front of house duties for the live show. He ensured each performance resonated with clarity, depth, and energy from start to finish. Thank you for all your hard work and professionalism!

Another thank you goes out to the entire production team from the for making our job easier.

A massive congratulations and thanks to and for trusting us with such an inspiring project. It was an honour to help bring your vision to life and share it with audiences.
