From concept phase to handling the shoot to editing the content into a deliverable package. Blackweather Productions CC., is an independent film production company based in Johannesburg, South Africa. It was founded in 2011 by University of Witwatersrand graduate, Xolelwa ‘Ollie’ Nhlabatsi. Nhlabatsi's work experience stems from working for brands such as the BBC, BET, Channel O and NBCUniversal. Striving to create once off, distinctive pieces that will endure above and beyond your competitors.

We’ve got a fresh new look! 🎉 Introducing our *new logo* — a sleek, modern design that reflects where we’re headed while staying true to the heart of Blackweather Productions.

Our new mark blends the B and W together, with the W cleverly turned on its side to form the shape of a camera. It’s simple, it’s bold and it’s a symbol of the creative lens through which we tell our stories.

But here’s the thing: while our look may have evolved, our mission remains unchanged. We’re still the same team bringing you the rain — pouring creativity, passion, and emotion into every project we take on.
