Blackweather Productions CC., is an independent film production company based in Johannesburg, South Africa. It was founded in 2011 by University of Witwatersrand graduate, Xolelwa ‘Ollie’ Nhlabatsi. Nhlabatsi's work experience stems from working for brands such as the BBC, BET, Channel O and NBCUniversal. Striving to create once off, distinctive pieces that will endure above and beyond your competitors.

Did you know that James Earl Jones became the voice of Darth Vader because George Lucas wanted a deeper, more powerful voice for the iconic villain? James Earl Jones, who sadly passed away this week, gave Darth Vader his unforgettable voice, while David Prowse, the actor who portrayed him on screen, also left us a few years ago.

Rest in peace to these two legends whose performances shaped one of cinema’s greatest characters.
