Job Opportunity: Junior Content Creator (Freelance)
Location: Randburg/Sandton, Johannesburg, South Africa
Capitol Collective, a creative film and photo production company, is looking for a young and enthusiastic Junior Content Creator to join our team on a freelance basis!
If you’re passionate about storytelling through visual content, have experience in photography, videography, editing, and love creating for social media, we’d love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Capture high-quality photos and videos on a regular basis for social media platforms.
- Edit and produce engaging content in line with our clients needs and branding.
- Collaborate with the team to brainstorm and execute creative ideas and trends.
- Visit our office in Blairgowrie, Randburg for post-production editing and gear collection.
- Ensure consistency in quality and adhere to project deadlines.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in photography, videography, and editing (portfolio required).
- Proficiency in video and photo editing software (On mobile and computer systems eg. Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop/Lightroom)
- A solid understanding of social media trends and platform-specific content strategies.
- Young, energetic, and enthusiastic, with a creative mindset.
- Must stay in or near the Randburg/Sandton area.
- Reliable transportation (car required).
- Strong organizational and people skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
