The five pillars of CX excellence – recruitment, training, operations, leadership, and innovation.

Eye-opening statistics on CX’s impact on profitability and competitive edge.

Practical insights to move from theory to action in your own teams.

A powerful call to reflection: "Customer experience doesn’t change until we do."

Rob Arnold

The Neuro-Hospitality Advantage:

Understanding the Brain to Delight the Guest

Rob's keynote delves into the fascinating world of neuroscience and psychology, showing senior management how a deeper understanding of human behaviour, emotions, and decision-making can be applied to design environments and interactions that truly resonate with members and visitors. It's about creating experiences that are not just enjoyable, but deeply satisfying on a cognitive and emotional level.

Announcing two speakers for our Annual Conference

Dear Members,

Andre Coetzee is a SANEDI-registered EPC Professional and one of the few SANS 1544 signatories in South Africa. He is the owner of Energy Certification Services and has years of corporate experience and a solid background in energy systems.

Andre is closely involved with Solar5 and CVE South Africa, collaborating on commercial solar and battery energy storage (BESS) solutions for a wide range of industries.

"Lights On, Costs Down: A Smarter Solar Future for Clubs"

This session will take a practical look at how solar is being adopted in South Africa, especially in the club industry. We'll cover what to consider if you're thinking about installing a new system, and how to make sure an existing one is running safely, efficiently, and delivering value. We'll also unpack the differences between grid-tied and hybrid systems, touch on key fire safety and regulatory issues, and explore the pros and cons of Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) and owning your system outright.

Roger Collins lives by the motto: "nearly everything is interesting if you go into it deeply enough". Roger is an educator, motivational speaker, and passionate corporate, educator and learner leadership trainer.

He spent 20 years as a science teacher, 4 of which in the role of principal of a small private school in Durban. After a move into Higher Education, he served as campus principal at 3 institutions, and sat on academic, sales, marketing, quality assurance and teaching and learning committees. Roger is also a qualified SETA facilitator, assessor, and moderator.

Woven into his journey, he spent more than 10 years as a radio presenter and emcee, and currently runs Learn to Lead, a leadership development programme that draws from a rich background inspiring delegates to question the very ideas they hold sacred.

Cracking the Generational Code

Boomers, Gen X, Millennials, and Gen Z – the workplace is more diverse today than at any other time in our history, and each generation brings with it distinct values and work styles. But one age group stands out as being more difficult than all the others – entitled, lazy, self-centred, tech addicted, impatient, irresponsible, and rude, and they will soon outnumber millennials. The effect is already rippling through the workplace and it’s becoming a manager’s nightmare.

We’ve created perfect profiles of the generations with articles, webinars, panel discussions, TED talks, and workshops explaining how decoding them is the key to the success and happiness of our organisations.

But what if we are wrong? Cracking the Generational Code takes you on a journey through the muddy waters of the future of our organisations, shining light into the dark corners of our understanding.
