"We still have very good leaders in the community. I have great hope that we will manage to overcome these difficulties. If we can just get rid of the corruption, if we can move forward, if the new generation can come forward and take over, we need to invest in our children. We need to invest in education, we need to invest in universities. We need to invest into qualified teachers who are able to teach the children," says Mariam Saloojee-Vally Distinguished political and community activist and participant in the 1956 March to the Union Buildings.
