These children, Nonxuba's victims, are now dying.

What started as film about rocks turned into a soul filling trip across our country! We got to film the most dignified, hilarious, and wise 83 year old man along his “journey of a lifetime”. He made us smarter and lighter, a total go with the flow kinda guy. Thanks “pops”. Also, having Tommy behind the camera is priceless thanks for putting your heart into every frame buddy. Good start to 2025

A sexual predator who thrived because the system didn't believe his victims. Most disturbing was when we interviewed the system, nothing had changed! A decade later and these girls, who are now women are still fighting for some sort of justice. Parents stay close. Your child should not have a better relationship with their coach/teacher than you.

I have been ... a little gutted by some of the online comments for this story. Mainly, because these brave women that spoke out, lost their babies. They have been through unimaginable trauma, and to then have to face so many ignorant comments about Carte Blanche being on a witch hunt against midwifery is so gross.

To clarify, this was not an opinion piece on midwifery. It was an investigation into the deaths of babies, not one or two, but multiple babies. The investigation was supported by first hand accounts, medical documents, eye-witnesses, autopsy reports and multiple sources that proved these midwives are/were using induction drugs and operating outside their scope of practice, not all of which were in the edited story.
