I wrote Love Sick almost 5 years before it was finally produced.

The melody and beat lived in my head for years. I tried working with different producers, but no one could quite capture the sound I was hearing… until I met the one who truly understood the assignment and helped bring it to life.

The inspiration for the lyrics comes from the Bible, from the beautiful love poetry in the Song of Songs.

“My beloved is like an apricot tree among the trees of the forest…
I delight to sit in his shade, and his fruit is sweet to my taste.”

It’s a song about deep love, longing, and devotion.

And the heart of the message is simple:
“If you see him… tell him I’m love sick.”
