Empowering the next generation of South African music talent through opportunity, self-expression, and creative freedom.
Since its inception in 2018, Creative Conquerors has been an ode to individuals who defy convention; creators who live boldly outside of societal norms and carve their own unique paths in the world of art, music, and expression.
The campaign, which began as a celebration of handpicked trailblazers, has stayed true to its mission: to support and amplify the voices of those breaking boundaries, aligning seamlessly with the Stylin’ Dredz ethos of self-expression, creativity, and confidence. Over the years, Stylin’ Dredz has collaborated with celebrated figures such as Big Zulu, Karabo Poppy, David Tshabalala, and Focalistic- all artists who embody the brand’s fearless spirit.
But the heart of Creative Conquerors lies in its commitment to emerging talent, those hustling from the ground up to make their mark. In a country where youth unemployment remains a challenge, and creative opportunities are often limited, Stylin’ Dredz continues to invest in platforms
that truly make a difference.
Stylin’ Dredz Mobile Studio – A Stage for the Next Generation
Launched in 2022 at the iconic Back To The City hip-hop festival, the Stylin’ Dredz Mobile Studio was designed to give rising poets, MCs, and vocalists a professional space to record, perform, and share their artistry with the world. Contestants were challenged to showcase their bars or vocals over one of four exclusive beats by renowned producer Big Dreamz, for a chance to elevate their music career.
After hundreds of submissions in 2024, Nicole Pilusa, known by her stage name , emerged as this year’s Creative Conqueror. Her powerful voice, authentic storytelling, and undeniable stage presence captured both the judges’ and audience’s attention. Nicole LUV walks away with R50 000 towards her music career dreams, and will make her debut performance at the 2025 Back To The City Festival- marking the beginning of what promises to be an exciting journey in the South African music scene.
