Full Moon Wolf
As a kid, I had a dream, thought I’d be a king,
Blind to the system, didn’t see the pyramid scheme.
I pictured a pharaoh sealed in gold-laced tombs,
But truth is, most of us just go six feet soon.
People say I’m cold, nah, I’m just misunderstood,
I stretch my truth far, like every real one should.
Might sound narcissistic, but I see through my own lens,
In a world that twists the truth and calls devils their friends.
They preach ethics, but don’t walk what they talk,
I was taught to move righteous, never lie when I talk.
But snakes in the grass emerge with bush knives,
Tryna cut me down, like I ain’t earned these strides.
Real talk, I hold an axe like a warrior in the pit,
This ain’t a tennis match, no doubles, just grit.
Call me Sabrina when I swing through the mist,
Forehands, backhands, every strike got a twist.
Poker face with an ace, numb taste, I devour,
What’s sin to a man who’s climbed pride’s tower?
Still, I pray for grace, for the Lord to move in me,
Grow roots in this soul, plant peace where it’s empty.
I spit with the full moon glowing in my chest,
The wolf awakens, hungry, never resting with the rest.
I see gangs boast about numbers like it’s a badge,
But that path’s a trap, a sentence dressed in rags.
I'm not here to glorify pain or fake strife,
I’m here to write deep, ink God's word into life.
Tattoo scripture on my skin, let it breathe in the night,
So when I fall, my body still speaks light.
They keep doors closed, thinking I’ll just give in
But I’m holding a torch, burning doubt from within.
Nothing’s just given, you gotta fight for your cause,
Kick down the silence, speak truth through the wars.
