Hey All. So I have not been able to post daily. I'm still alive 😊! I decided to make Kakamas in the Northern Cape my base for a few days, I then made my way up to Riemvasmaak where there was no signal at all.

I am hard at work editing some of the footage that I have taken on the route, so stay tuned for my first video coming soon!! 📹📽️😎

Day 4 – 1 May 2022 | Left Bray and made my way to the town of Kuruman, Northern Cape, I officially crossed into the Northern Cape. The roads were good and I rode almost 300Km. When I got to Kuruman, I was not happy with the campsite. I was told it was not safe and to top it off the place had a stench of sewerage💩.. Thank goodness for Airbnb! I found a lodge not to far out of town. I got to spend the night in “Luxury”. A real bed and a nice shower, It was awesome and so worth it! 😁

3 – 30 April 2022 | Today was a rough day. I left Wondergat and made my way to Mahikeng to refuel and refresh but while I was there my phone was stolen off the bike! 😡😡😡 After having to spend the next two hours arranging a new phone I was running late to get to my next destination. I had about 230KM to do and 100km of it on a very hectic sand road, one of the worst yet bets roads i have ever driven, on top of it, my phone’s battery died as the phone I got had an older connection an I could not charge it… (No GPS). That road was long, I had to really ask myself “what am I doing?” 😢. I pressed on but I was tired!

At least I arrived safely in the very small town of Bray, I was finished though. I recommend anyone to go and stay at Tampa Lodge if you are ever in Bray. I had a few drinks to forget this road. I also met some amazing people who invited me to their house. We had a few drinks on the border of Botswana and they even helped me out with a phone cable that would work on my bike. It really made it worth the trip! 😊
