I remember kwa Grade 4 when I started using a pen, I made a mistake. I would try hard to erase it before submitting to my teacher. Sometimes I used chalk to clean my mistakes but it later reappeared. I even began to use my saliva, it worked, but only to leave holes in my books. My teachers would beat me for being outrageously dirty, but all I tried to do was to cover my errors.
But one day a kindhearted teacher called me aside and said "Anytime you do a mistake, just cross over it and move" she further said "Trying to erase your mistakes will only damage your book to nothing". I told her that I don't want people to see my mistakes. She giggled and said "Trying to erase your mistakes will make more people know about your mess and the stigma will stay for life".
Ever made a mistake in your life?
