Appreciation to SAAYC
Buhlebezwe Youth Community Development Centre (BYCDC) would like to sincerely express our appreciation to South African Association Youth Club(SAAYC) for the valuable Social Enterprise Training held from 18–21 August 2026 at Apollo Coference Hotel.
The training was attended by our Chairperson, Eliya Mohale, who represented BYCDC and gained valuable knowledge on building sustainable social enterprises and creating long-term impact within our communities.
One of the key highlights was learning about the hybrid social enterprise model—how an organisation can combine social impact with income-generating activities to strengthen sustainability and reduce dependency on grants and donations. We also gained valuable insights into social enterprise structures, business models, sustainability, identifying community needs, value creation, entrepreneurship, financial sustainability, and turning social challenges into viable opportunities.
We would like to extend our special appreciation to Mr Jabu Mahlangu Wekwaggafontein D , SAAYC Coordinator in Mpumalanga, for his leadership, support, guidance and commitment in making this training meaningful and impactful.
The knowledge gained will contribute greatly to the growth and sustainability of BYCDC as we continue working towards our vision of building a skilled, empowered and self-reliant youth.
