Zolani Ndevu is a 38-year-old filmmaker from Khayelitsha, Cape Town. In 2010 he trained as a citizenjournalist at Hillside Digital as part of the Siyakhona project for the FIFA 2010. centres ar

ound Africa legacy in association with Sony and street football world.Zolani has a passion for human rights and is a member of Get up Stand up Campaign, a campaign that opposes xenophobia and racism. From 2011 to 2012, Zolani studied documentary filmmaking at the Big Fish School of Digital Filmmakingin Cape Town. In 2013 he received a certificate of recognition from the California Legislature Assembly in honour of his dedication to Orikitheatres at the 4th Annual Silicon Valley African film festival. The biggest highlight of his filmmaking career was he won the Professional Jury Award in France 2014, and Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition U.S House of Representatives. He has made films that have been shown all over the world and local film festival such as Encounters Film Festival, Tri Continental Film Festival, Silicon Valley Film Festival, Plein Sud film festival, Mpumalanga Short Film Festival, Jozi Film Festival amongst others. In 2018 Zolani worked at Cape Town TV as a studio intern and in 2019 he was part of an internship programme at Visual Impact Academy, In 2019, Zolani was employed at Cardova (pty)LTD as an assistant editor for shows such as Top Billing, Presenter search, The Taste Master, Pasella and the Insider SA. To date Zolani still working at Cardova and willing to spread his wings to other productions.

Ndevu Media Sevirces Trainee profile Sibongile Nyokana

Sibongiseni Nyokana is a 25 years old aspiring filmmaker. She has gone through a number of workshops and training to enhance her knowledge in the field. In 2011 she was part of the living it workshop for script writing and movie making which was a preparation for Ubuntu Teen film festival. In 2012 she went for two weeks training in Photography at Snap photography Club. Ever since then she has been striving to feed her hunger for more knowledge. In 2017-2018 she was the camera operator at Philippi TV a community TV that tells social stories. Recently (2019) she acquired another professional training with DOCI for emerging young filmmakers.

She has a heart for documentaries. She is passionate about bringing social change in small communities.

She is also a trained actress from Chris Hani Arts and Culture High School. She has done a number of theatre Productions and directed a few.

Chrissie Noncedo Sam is an aspiring, self-motivated and passionate 32-year-old born and raised in a village town Cofimvaba, in the Eastern Cape. She is a nurturing person motivated by good welfare and growth of others.

She has a Bachelor of Administration degree majoring in Development Studies from the University of Stellenbosch. In addition, she graduated with Bachelor of Technology in Project Management at Cape Peninsula University of Technology in 2013.

Her personal attributes include being an attentive listener with an ability to resolve problems and maintaining order when faced with challenges. She’s considerate and communicates reasonable options when dealing with complicated situations and respects the next person’s need for time to think things through. She’s calm, yet genuinely expresses her concerns and would forcefully engage when in an inevitable conflict.

In 2016 she was selected as one of the representatives from the University of Stellenbosch to attend The Smart Governance European Conference at ESADE Business School of Ramon Llull University in

Spain. Outside her profession, Chrissie is a part-time professional model at Twenty Model Management. since 2016. She previously featured for Oude Meester Brandy and for Castle Lite Tv Adverts accordingly. She is passionate about photography and film making and aspires to impact lives to harness the consideration, protection, development and appreciation of others. In her free time, she enjoys mountain-hiking, picnic and movie dates with loved ones….

Nosisi Sitole founding memeber of Ndevu Media services

Nosisi Sithole was born in kayamandi Stellenbosch, She went to Khayamandi high school. in 2009 she started attending Film School Africa. In 2010, She finished grade 12 and went to study at Cape Peninsula University of Technology and pursued a diploma in film and video technology, then came back in 2014 to Film School Africa serving as a Coordinator in Kayamandi.

In 2016 she worked for Street Talk TV until 2018 as an office manager, researcher, camera person, and editor.and she is currently working in Independent media as a content producer.
