ANC FRANCES BAARD STATEMENT REGARDING THE SOL PLAATJE EXECUTIVE MAYOR.

The African National Congress in the Frances Baard Region wish to dispel rumours suggesting that the Mayor of Sol-Plaatje local municipality, Cde Patrick Mabilo have been removed nor replaced as Executive Mayor. We can confirm that Comrade Patrick Mabilo, is still the Executive Mayor.

During this period, the African National Congress will ensure that proper measures are put in place to ensure leadership stability in the Sol-Plaatje local municipality, to deliver quality services to the broader community.

In preparation for the upcoming local government elections, the African National Congress is hard at work, engaging communities through door to door campaign trail, as part of our continuous efforts to mobilise electorates to vote ANC and towards building better communities, together.

Today marks twenty five ( 25) days before the 2021 Local Government elections which will be held on the 01 November 2021. We take this opportunity to thank everyone for registering to vote for the African National Congress in the upcoming elections.
