Meet the XUAN Diamond! This stone is an incredible 10.60 carats and boasts a Fancy Vivid Blue color grade with Internally Flawless (IF) clarity, expertly graded by GIA.

Over its 70-year history, GIA has examined nearly every natural blue diamond ever polished—and XUAN stands among the rarest.

What sets XUAN apart? Of all the diamonds submitted to GIA each year, only 2% are Fancy color. Unmodified blue is amongst the rarest colors, with few diamonds featuring the saturation necessary to receive the highly coveted Fancy Vivid grade. Pair that with an Internally Flawless clarity and impressive size, and XUAN stands out as a natural marvel. As a type IIb diamond, its intense blue hue is caused by trace amounts of boron, which also gives it the rare ability to conduct electricity. Experts even believe it was likely sourced from the famed Cullinan Mine in South Africa.

“Tree rings” in diamonds? 🌳 Under deep UV illumination, type Ia diamonds—which make up roughly 99% of all natural diamonds—often show internal growth patterns that look like tree rings.

Here’s what we can learn from this diamond’s “tree rings”:
- These growth patterns form as the diamond crystal develops deep in the Earth, recording changes in pressure, temperature and chemistry over time.
- The presence of nitrogen atoms and vacancies in the crystal lattice gives these diamonds their unique fluorescence pattern. Blue fluorescence typically results from three nitrogens and a vacancy, while green is linked to two nitrogens and a vacancy.
- These nitrogen arrangements contribute to a diamond's color (often yellowish or brownish tones) and fluorescence. They even affect how it reacts to advanced imaging tools like the DiamondView, which reveals the hidden growth structure and helps identify whether a diamond is natural, treated or laboratory-grown.💎🌍

Your emerald goes through rigorous, multi-step testing when it is submitted to a GIA laboratory. Here’s a peek into how our expertly-trained gemologists conduct their analysis:

1. Item Description: Shape, transparency and carat weight are recorded. Green color confirmed with Munsell chips.

2. Standard Gemological Testing:
- Specific Gravity: Compare ratio of gem density to that of water (emerald=2.72).
- Refractive index: Determine how much the gem bends light when light is moving through it (emerald=1.577-1.583).
- Handheld Spectroscope: Check for chromium-related features that are visible in emerald.

3. Analytical Testing:
- LA-ICP-MS: Advanced instrument reveals trace element chemistry, which helps determine country of origin.
- UV-Vis-NIR: Advanced instrument measures how light interacts with gem, which determines chemical composition and potential treatments.

4. Microscopic Examination: Inclusions help determine country of origin and potential treatments, such as clarity enhancement.

5. Report: Report is reviewed and issued. Determination of clarity enhancement and filler type is specified within the report.

GIA colored stone reports are based on decades of expert laboratory and field gemology research.

🔎 Ever noticed tiny marks inside your ring?
Those little stamps are called hallmarks, and they tell a story! 💍✨

Hallmarks indicate the metal purity, sometimes the origin, and even the maker’s mark. Think of them as your ring’s passport — a guarantee of authenticity, quality, and craftsmanship.

Next time you take off your ring, have a peek inside — you might spot:
💫 “375” (9ct gold)
💫 “925” (sterling silver)
💫 “PLAT” or “950” (platinum)
💫 Or a unique maker’s stamp – that could be us! 😉

📸 Drop a photo of your ring’s hallmark in the comments — we’ll help you decode it!

Meet the largest Fancy Vivid Yellow-Orange diamond ever examined by GIA (as of 2025)! In every way, this gem is an exceptional natural wonder 💎✨

According to its Monograph issued by GIA, this remarkable 13.50-carat cushion cut took four months to craft from a 34.21-carat crystal, which also produced two satellite stones weighing 4.14 carats and 1.04 carats.

Additionally, predominantly orange diamonds are exceptionally rare, making up less than 2% of all fancy color diamonds submitted to GIA each year. Orange diamonds over one carat in size are even more rare.

Finally, this diamond’s saturated hue is caused by single nitrogen atoms dispersed throughout the crystal lattice, making it a rare type Ib diamond.

this diamond has a out-of-this-world fluorescent pattern! ✳️
This stellar 3.70 ct diamond has abducted our heart!

Graded Fancy brownish greenish yellow by GIA, it contains clouds of micro-inclusions that scatter light under normal lighting situations (image 1) and create dramatic yellowish green fluorescence under UV light (image 2).

While this stone has some natural radiation staining and cape defects that contribute to its yellow color, the cloud inclusion is definitely the “star” of this diamond.

Have you ever seen a diamond as unique as this?

The word “investment” comes from the Latin term “investire,” which means “to clothe”—making it perhaps an even more apt description for the fashion world than for anything else!

In fact, when it comes to passion investments, diamonds and Hermès bags are strong options for diversifying your portfolio.

In terms of investment handbags, the Hermès Birkin is in a league of its own. This iconic bag has become synonymous with luxury, elegance, and exclusivity — and its value only seems to increase over time. Over the past 35 years their price has increased about 500% — an average of 14% a year. Their rarity, timelessness and craftsmanship enable them to retain exceptional value. Studies have shown that over the past few decades, Birkin bags have consistently outperformed traditional investment options such as stocks and gold. This makes the Birkin not just a beautiful accessory but also a lucrative investment opportunity.

Historically, pink diamonds have also been a powerful asset — between 2000 and 2020, pink diamonds appreciated over 500%! They are amongst the most rare and valuable of Earth's treasure. Top, vivid coloured stones can fetch more than US $2 million per carat at auctions. This is due to its unparalleled rarity and beauty.
