Tata Madiba once said: "A winner is a dreamer who never gives up" and therefore we need to stand together and make sure we become a generation of winners.
Karabo Kgechane is a 24year old who believes that we can be the biggest generation to come out of South Africa if we work together. Karabo is a Rosebank college student who is from Klerksdorp but now lives in Pretoria. Karabo is a guy of many talents because with being a student, he is also a musician and an entertainer.
Karabo says: "With this movement, I'm hoping to unite the youth in different aspects of whatever interest we might have". Karabo started this movement because he has seen that the youth has talent but can't succeed because the youth lacks resources, the youth lacks support and the youth lacks peserverence. Too often people end up working in retail stores just because a certain talent couldn't be funded or supported enough. This has to come to an end.
We all don't know what the future holds but imagine Klerksdorp as a city ran by a Dominant generation. Imagine a program where students are being funded, imagine models all up on billboards, imagine chefs having cooking competitions, imagije designers having fashion weeks. Now imagine us, the youth, as the generation that started it all.
Honestly speaking, the youth is being slept on and it is up to us to change this. It is up to us to make sure we are heard. It is up to us to make a difference in our city and it is up to us to make this work
If we stand together as the youth and make this movement work, we can be VICTORIOUS
