Notice of Temporary Suspension of Operations on SA HIPHOP
We hereby notify the public that the SA HIPHOP platform will be placed on temporary hold. This decision has been taken following serious developments involving the former owner of the page, Mr. Alec, who has recently been subjected to public scrutiny and threats on social media platforms.
At Mr. Alec’s request, and out of respect for his person and the seriousness of the allegations made against him, we have agreed to suspend the page’s activity to allow him the necessary time to address and respond to said allegations.
During this period of inactivity, our team will be undertaking an internal review of our strategic direction and refocusing our efforts to enhance our operations. SA HIPHOP has long been a leading source of Afrikaans music, rap, and hip hop news, and we remain committed to continuing in that role upon our return.
We express our support and solidarity with Mr. Alec and his family during this challenging time.
We appreciate your understanding and look forward to resuming our activities in due course, stronger and more committed than ever.
