What I've loved about creating the Sojournal 2008 - 2017 is the feedback from all the people who had a desire to include the ancient wisdom and natural cycles into their daily lives. I loved the interactive nature of this publication, the articles from a variety of keen contributors on topics that were relevant at the time.
I raised my children on the success of this publication, printing 1000 copies a year.

Then life in general got intense along with the pressure of raising funds to print before people ordered. I stopped printing, for what I thought would be a short break. Then when I had to use other diaries my life felt completely different, what once felt like an integrated soul journey became pages of To Do lists. In fact I havn't even used a diary at all for the last few years.

Now, 9 years later, I find myself in a peaceful space, kids are grown up and out the house and I'm living on a very remote farm in a stunning valley (see the 2026 Planting Calendar cover) in the Eastern Cape mountains. An ideal space to create the Sojournal once more, where I'm able to give it my full love and attention. So far I've enjoyed a taste of the excitement in this chapter of the journey, it'd be an ideal way to earn my living our here. I am curious to see who is keen to include nature's cycles and the educational content in your daily life, who of the previous Sojournal lovers will embrace this edition and how the new generation of soul seekers will take to this publication.

This edition is based on the same formula as the last, where the gardening content was most popular, along with article by Kevin McKee, one of our previous contributors. In the years to come we will see new contributors and look forward to hearing your feedback as to what you'd like included in your daily experience.

The only viable way to publish this edition is 'on demand', be it a bit more costly, it's the best possible way to get it out there at this stage.
