Instead of fulfilling all our fantasies and healing South Africa's inner child with a hero that is a military trained, gun slinging fighter the bad guys actually fear, Netflix's "180" gave us a bumbling fool who has more bark than bite.

Resources were concentrated in select locations in the early 2000s. For Mosa Shadung who grew up on a handful of creative entreprenuers to aspire to and whose journeys of urban migration from (insert small town here) to Johannesburg were etched into the blueprint of success, it is no surprise that he adopted the same script in the building of his own creative career. β€œI had to go to Gauteng to pursue my dreams because there weren’t any opportunities here [in Kriel],” he explains. And 8 years in, Shadung can look back and finally regale the multitude of ways he has built a thriving business in the creative realm.
