TH Publishing Co. is giving young writers the chance to get published for free! If you're a primary or high school learner with a passion for storytelling in Setswana, this is your moment!

📖 How to Enter:
- Submit an original, unpublished manuscript (min. 50 pages, A5, size 12 font, New Times Roman or Ariel 1.5 spacing).
- Email your PDF or Word file to [email protected] with your name, age, school, and contact details.
- Deadline: April 15, 2025

We are more than happy to announce the launch of our UPROOT AN AUTHOR Programme, an exciting initiative by TH Publishing Co. aimed at discovering and nurturing new literary talent. This competition is designed to give aspiring young writers a platform to showcase their creativity and have their work published for free.

Over the next few months, we will be running a competition that will enable us to select one deserving author, mentor them on the fundamentals of writing and self-publishing, and publish their book completely free of charge.

Competition Details:

Genre: Short stories

Language: Setswana

Eligibility: Open to all high school and primary school learners, with preference given to those who meet this criterion.

We believe in the power of language and storytelling, and this programme is designed to uplift young writers, offering them the opportunity to have their voices heard. The winner will receive full mentorship from experienced authors and editors, guiding them through the process of transforming their manuscript into a professionally published book.

Important Notes:

The programme is fully funded by TH Publishing Co., with no entry fees.

We are delighted to announce the launch of our UPROOT AN AUTHOR Programme.

In the next few months, we will be enrolling a competition that will enable us to pick a winner and publish their book for them, free of charge and we will mentor them on the basics of writing and self-publishing. This competition will include Short Stories which will have to be written in Setswana. Preference will be given to high school & primary learners.

We still remember our first cover like it was yesterday. Interviews from EC, NW all the way to NC, etc. This has been a journey filled with love, and inspiration.

Unfortunately, due to limited resources we are working on our last cover till further notice. Thank you for inspiring, and for being inspired.
