Today, as I was heading home for a quick bite to eat, I noticed an elderly man standing by the road with his walker, thumb out, trying to hitch a ride. Something about the scene made me pause, so I made a U-turn and went back to see if he needed help. When I asked if he was okay, he told me he was trying to get to the dollar store about 1.5 miles away.

I immediately thought he might be in need of some food, so I offered him a ride.

As we drove, I asked him a few questions:

"How old are you?"

"93," he replied.

"What's your name?"

"Mike."

"Are you married?"

"Yes, my wife is 94. Her name is Doris."

"Does she know you're out?"

"Nope, she probably hasn’t even started looking for me yet."

Curious, I asked, "Why are we going to the store?"

He smiled and said, "My wife and I like to share a Hershey chocolate bar every night, and we're out, so I need to buy 30 Hershey Bars."

Before dropping him off, I gave him my card and told him, "Next time you need some chocolate, no need to hitch a ride. Just give me a call. I look forward to meeting Doris.

Because of he's greedy and lazy intentions Asake made us to lost deals which was worth over $4 Million dollars 😳.

Asake did 11 shows in 2024 and when he was called to shutdown a particular show in November he declined the deal saying he's tired 👀, this is coming from someone who chose to be famous and popular 😑.
This particular deal was a $400k dollars deal and he declined it, i will not mention name's but the show organizers felt embarrassed and promised never to give him a platform to perform in their show again 🙆.

When Tony elumelu came with he's deal for him to perform at he's end of the years part with a well paid millions he said NO🤨.

Flytime festival 200Million Niara, lagos countdown, OandO oil end of the year party deal over $400k dollars plus many others which would have been over $4Million Dollars all in 2 months but he declined it all and ghost off 🙆.

— Asake's formal manager Tunde Phoenix shares via IG on how Asake’s greed made him turn down lucrative December shows, cos he didn’t want to cut team members a percentage.
Since Empire records showed Asake a charming deal he turned he's back on those who brought him this far.

China has a "reverse zoo" where animals roam freely, and visitors are placed in cages, offering a unique way to experience wildlife.
One such place is the Lehe Ledu Wildlife Zoo in Chongqing, where animals are allowed to move freely while humans are confined to cages. Another example is the Siberian Tiger Park in Harbin, Heilongjiang Province, which spans 350 acres and lets Siberian tigers play and roam, while tourists walk along a cage-like pathway.

This setup provides visitors with the opportunity to observe animals in a more natural and unrestricted environment.

Tekno was one of the biggest musicians in Nigeria in 2016 after dropping Rara, Pana, and Diana. In 2017, he lost his voice and couldn’t sing the songs he wrote.

He started contacting Davido to give him the song IF, which he had written and was planning to record. Davido did not take him serious and was busy clubbing. Tekno took out his time one day, went to the club and carried Davido to the studio to record the song and the rest was history!

After Davido recorded and released IF, it became one of the biggest hit songs in Afrobeats history!

When the video dropped, it became the first African song to hit 1 million Y0uTube views in 24 hours.

It became Davido’s first song to be certified RIAA Gold in the US and the first solo song by an African artist to surpass 100 million streams on Spotify!

Davido made over $10 million from royalties and sales of this song, and it literally placed him at the top of Afrobeats globally!

Till date, Davido still appreciates Tekno for changing his life with that song!

Tekno gave us hits that Afrobeats can never forget!
