Woodridge College & Preparatory School Alumni This appeal worked and the association reformed under a name change. The aim is to sell 500 tickets each year.

In 1958 several Woodridge Prep alumni held an inaugural general meeting to form the Woodridge Old Boys Association (WOBA) after attempting to contact the 300 or so past pupils. Their main objectives were to organise reunions and sports meetings, have old-boy representation on the Board of Trustees, assist pupils in need where necessary and for old boys to maintain friendships formed at the Prep. B

y 1963 the editor noted in the school magazine that ; “For the past few year the Woodridge Old Boys Association has been, to all intents and purposes, non- existent.” and appealed to all old boys to support them. They became the Old Woodridgeans Association (OWA) which worked well especially once the school began accepting female students. To date the OWA’s major fundraising initiative has been the 500 Club which hold lucky draws 3 times a year and give prizes of R25 000, 00; R7 500, 00 at each draw, as well as attendance prizes and lucky draws.

We are at a loss for words. It's with much heartbreak that we suffered the loss of Ray Holmes yesterday. 💔

Our prayers and deepest condolences to Rina, Brett, Megan, Kirsty, Tracy and the rest of his family and friends.

Ray was a dedicated and passionate Old Woodridgean from class of '76, also a current staff member and a friend to many! He will be sorely missed 🕊️🤍.

Beats & Bliss! Join us for a vibrant evening at Remo's in PE on 31 July! 🤩

Not only are we excited for performances from Brent Krain and Megan du Toit, but the evening will also feature a vibrant mix of solo and group performances by our talented Woodridge pupils, showcasing ensembles such as the Woodridge Rock Trio, the Woodridge Jazz Band, and the Woodridge Music Department Mass Band.

You can look forward to an eclectic repertoire with songs from renowned artists like Toto, Coldplay, Neil Diamond, and many others.

With reunion fast approaching, we just love the stories of life long bonds & friendships formed at school 🤩l!

Look at best friends to this day, Trish Arnoldi (one of the first girl boarders at Woodridge) and Jackie Nel (The first headgirl at Woodridge) on a road trip after their 30 year reunion. Yes, they were both in Founders House - class of '87!! 😌

There’s something truly special about derby days - not just the action on the field, but the spirit that fills the sidelines.

Today, we were delighted to welcome Woodridge College and their staff, parents and proud alums (𝘴𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘪𝘳 𝘰𝘭𝘥 𝘳𝘶𝘨𝘣𝘺 𝘫𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘦𝘺𝘴) to our campus.
