🚨 11 PEOPLE KILLED IN THREE SEPARATE CAPE TOWN SHOOTINGS
At least 11 people have been killed and several others injured in three separate shooting incidents that rocked parts of Cape Town in a single night.
In Manenberg, two men were shot and killed in Pecos Walk on Sunday evening. A 74-year-old woman was also wounded in the leg during the attack.
In Gugulethu, five people were killed in a separate shooting in the NY 50 area. Four men and one woman, aged between 19 and 23, died in the attack, while another woman was injured and taken to hospital.
A third shooting was reported in Kayamandi, Stellenbosch, where a man was killed. Two police officers and two members of the public were also injured after armed suspects allegedly opened fire on police responding to the incident.
Police investigations are underway into all three shootings, with authorities working to establish the circumstances and motives behind the attacks.
The latest incidents have renewed concerns about gun violence and public safety in communities across the Western Cape.
