Between all the adventures, the wonderful has been working on a new film. Here is a peek at the poster for now and a repost from his page:
Happy to share the poster of my short film. A passion project filmed in one the most beautiful places in
“Our Plastic Paradise”
Set in an isolated fishing village in rural Gabon, Setté Cama, Plastic Paradise tells the story of Jean-François Fischer, who operates Setté Cama Adventure Fishing. When the lodge and the village find their beaches littered with plastic, they must work together to protect their home, the tourism trade, and the environment they depend on.
Their mission becomes a Sisyphean task as they grapple with the Atlantic current, which deposits plastic as fast as they can remove it. Their isolation and lack of resources make the question of what to do with the collected waste even more complex.
Told through the voices of Jean-François, the village elders, and the young men who collect waste, Plastic Paradise offers a striking portrait of the real impact of plastic pollution on people, places, and nature.
