Youth unemployment in South Africa has decreased to 31% in Q3 — and while government celebrates progress, let us not forget that over 280,000 young people are still sitting at home without opportunity.
Today marks Day 2 of the NYDA Business Management Training, and we stand on the edge of something powerful. We are showing that rural youth are ready, capable, and rising. The possibility of exceeding 30 participants is already becoming real.
So I want to speak directly to:
Unemployed youth
Matric gap-year students
Those feeling discouraged
Anyone losing hope
Do not give up.
This is your time to rise, learn, and build.
The world is changing — and we must change with it.
