FEMALE POLICE OFFICER WHO R***D HER OWN SON FOUND GUILTY AND SENTENCED

14 November 2025

A former Limpopo Constable has been sentenced to eight years imprisonment for the r**e of her son, who was only 12 at the time of the incident in 2023.The former cop who was stationed at Groblersdal SAPS was sentenced on Thursday, 13 November 2025 by the Middleburg Regional Court.

The 42-year-old constable who cannot be named to protect the identity of the child, pleaded guilty to three charges including sexual assault, production of child po*******hy, and possession of child po*******hy.

These follows a disturbing scene that an officer was seen in a video that went viral in 2023, having sexual in*******se with her own son.

National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) spokesperson Monica Nyuswa said in 2020, the woman approached a traditional healer, who advised her to bath her with traditional medicine and simulate sexual in*******se as part of a ritual to dispel evil spirits.

The healer instructed her to film the act and send it to him, after which he extorted money from her, threatening to release the video if she failed to comply," said Nyuswa.

"While she claimed that no actual in*******se took place, the fact that such an act was simulated stands as testament to the extreme violation of trust and safeguarding that should exist between a parent and child," the NPA stated.

The mother was sentenced to a total of ten years for sexual assault, with two years of this term suspended on condition that no further offenses are committed during that period. Additionally, she received two-year sentences for both the production and possession of child po*******hy, with the latter running concurrently with the sexual assault sentence.

Overall, she is to serve an effective sentence of eight years while also being declared unfit to possess a firearm.

In mitigating circumstances, the court acknowledged the accused's cooperation with law enforcement, her confession, and her time served awaiting trial as factors to consider.

TAKUME MOTSHEKGA SENTENCED TO TWO LIFE TERMS PLUS 15 YEARS IMPRISONMENT FOR MURDER, INCLUDING THE MURDER OF HIS WIFE

12 November 2025

BOLOBEDU: The Polokwane High Court has sentenced Takume Edmond Motshekga (37) to two life terms plus 15 years’ imprisonment following his conviction on three counts of murder and one count of attempted murder. The court heard that on the evening of 01 January 2022, in Kuranta village, Motshekga had a heated argument over the phone with his wife, Constable Mahlatse Precious Machubeni, who was stationed at Mokwakwaila SAPS. Later that evening, Motshekga requested his wife’s cousin, Pontsho Sekumane, to accompany him to fetch her from a friend’s house.

When they arrived, another argument broke out between the accused and his wife, which escalated into violence. Motshekga fatally shot his wife, the mother of his children, before demanding the car keys from Sekumane. When Sekumane refused, Motshekga shot and killed him as well. He then took the vehicle and fled the scene. On his way, Motshekga encountered Louis Makhurupetji and another victim, whom he shot at, killing Makhurupetji and injuring the other occupant. After the shooting spree, the accused drove to Giyani Police Station, where he handed himself over to the police.

Despite denying the murders and claiming provocation by his wife, Motshekga was convicted based on overwhelming evidence, including forensic findings that detailed the fatal injuries sustained by the victims. In aggravation of sentence, Advocate Nkhetheni Munyai highlighted the premeditated and violent nature of the offences, noting that Motshekga’s actions were driven by jealousy and a clear disregard for human life.

In sentencing, Judge Jane Ngobeni remarked: “If the deceased knew that you were going to kill her, she would not have accepted your proposal.” The court imposed two life sentences and 15 years’ imprisonment for the third count of murder. All sentences will run concurrently.

Welcoming the judgment, Limpopo Director of Public Prosecutions, Advocate Ivy Thenga, said: “This verdict demonstrates that violent crimes, particularly those committed against vulnerable victims, will not be tolerated. We commend the bravery of the survivor whose testimony was vital in securing this conviction, as well as the SAPS investigating officer, Warrant Officer Doit Malebe, and the prosecution team for their diligent work.”

SHEBESSHXT RELEASED ON Bail BAIL LESS THAN AN HOUR AFTER ARRESTED FOR ATTEMPTED MURDER

12 November 2025

Controversial rapper Shebeshxt has once again set an unprecedented record — this time in the justice system. After being arrested earlier today on attempted murder charges, the musician reportedly spent less than an hour in police custody before being released on bail.

The swift release has sparked public outrage and debate over the fairness of the legal system. Many South Africans have compared Shebeshxt’s treatment to that of Matome Modiba, a man from Tzaneen, who was sentenced to life imprisonment on Monday, 10 November 2025, for a similar case of attempted murder committed against his girlfriend in 2023.

Social media users and legal analysts alike are questioning whether celebrity status and influence play a role in the administration of justice. “Justice should not be determined by fame or money,” one user commented online.

Many are now calling for equal treatment before the law and hoping that justice will ultimately prevail in Shebeshxt’s case.

BLACK LEOPARDS BOSS ANGRY AT DR IRVIN KHOZA

12 November 2025

Former Premier Soccer League (PSL) Executive Committee member, and Black Leopards President,David Thidiela lambasted PSL Chairman Dr Irvin Khoza of being a dictator and more powerful than President Cyril Ramaphosa and that you either toe the line or you out of the league.

Thidiela was livid in the interview with Radio 2000 Thabiso Mosia ,in a sports show,on Tuesday,11 November. He further alleges that Khoza and Acting CEO Mato Madlala relegated his team before he bought the status of Cape Town All Stars.

He's accusing Khoza and Mato Madlala of having unilaterally banned Black Leopards from signing players at the beginning of this season without FIFA 's instruction and demand a replay of those matches.

Thidiela further indicate that he has written a letter to Minister of Sports Arts and Culture Gayton McKenzie questioning,PSL decision to employ Mato Madlala as an Acting CEO for 10 years.

Thidiela reveals that Dr Khoza reported him to Deputy President Paul Mashatile and he was called to his house and found Dr Khoza there and the DP promised to arrange a meeting with the Sports Minister,Zizi Kodwa, but to date the meeting has not taken place. He says he went with the view of resolving family issues as his son is married to Mashatile 's daughter.

He's advocating for a change of PSL leadership and says there's a personal vendetta against him from his previous suspensions as the Executive Committee member of the league to date,by Dr Irvin Khoza.

Thidiela is not new to controversy, he once insulted the now former PSL referee Victor Hlungwani in public after a Black Leopards game in Thohoyandou some years back. He called Hlungwani by names and also vulgarised his words that sounded tribalistic at the time,However he later apologised and the matter was put to rest.
