Mayor Shadrack Maluleke mourns death of respected Hosi Mahatlani🕊️🕊️🕊️💔:
The Mayor of Collins Chabane Local Municipality Councillor Shadrack Maluleke is deeply saddened by the untimely death of Hosi Famando Henry Sibisi Mahatlani.
Chief Mahatlani was a strong advocate for the emancipation of women and the protection of children and he worked hard to advance the fight for a just society and to promote the love for education in his community.
“Chief Mahatlani contributed much to the development of Mahatlani village, it was through his leadership that the village in working with government was able to construct 42 RDP houses, 52 toilets, Apollo light, internal bridges and a dignified graveyard. He was always hungry for development and the betterment of his village hence his support for education”,
Hosi Mahatlani also served as a Ward Committee under the Collins Chabane Local Municipality and he played a crucial role as a member of a task team in Hlanganani cluster towards the establishment of the Collins Chabane Local Municipality.
His passing is a great loss to the community of Collins Chabane Local Municipality. He was a dedicated member of Tihosi/Maosi mayoral forum, a leader who served with dignity, humility and commitment to strengthen development and promote the dignity of his people and i can confidently say Hosi Mahatlani died with his boots on.
