It was a pleasure to welcome Aissatou Diallo , Chief of the Office for Africa at the International Trade Centre , to our closing session. Aissatou brought a wealth of knowledge and expertise, contributing significantly to our discussion on the challenges and opportunities young African entrepreneurs encounter.

In her insightful remarks, Aissatou highlighted the critical importance of intellectual property for budding entrepreneurs. “In a world driven by innovation, protecting intellectual property is paramount,” she emphasized. Aissatou urged young entrepreneurs to recognize and safeguard their intellectual creations, be it groundbreaking products, unique services, or innovative business models.
