🧨What I see 👀 when people post quotes to justify their beliefs, they tend to pick something that just happens to validate whatever they’re feeling at the moment. It’s never really about the “universal truth” of the quote—it’s more like a mirror, reflecting back their own preferences. Take, for example, someone posting a Marilyn Monroe⭐🌟🌠 quote on how bigger women are beautiful. This resonates deeply, especially if they've tried and failed to lose weight and maybe find the gym a bit too much of a commitment. Suddenly, the words of a Hollywood icon become a timeless testament to beauty standards, conveniently supporting their choice to take a few extra rest days. It’s as if the world is on their side, even when it’s really just them, cheering themselves on from the couch.🤔
