Julius Malema wants Ngizwe Mchunu to be jailed for 6 months without an option of a fine.

He has filed an urgent contempt of court application in the Gauteng High Court, Pretoria, against Ngizwe Mchunu for defamation.

The application seeks an order declaring Mchunu guilty of contempt of court and sentencing him to 6 months' imprisonment without the option of a fine.

The hearing is expected on the 17th of June 2026

Our research indicates that areas with high concentrations of foreign nationals tend to be dirty.

A comparative study of Hillbrow, Sunnyside, Yeoville, and Soweto revealed that townships with significant immigrant populations, such as Hillbrow, Sunnyside, and Yeoville, appear less clean than Soweto, which has a predominantly South African population.

The study found that overcrowding and varying individual hygiene practices contribute to the cleanliness challenges in these areas.

Furthermore, it was observed that some residents in these densely populated areas may have different standards of cleanliness, with some tolerating overcrowded living conditions, such as up to 12 people sharing a small two-bedroom apartment.

Most of immigrants especially from the African continent must be thought good hygiene and cleaning after themselves as this affect government service delivery and contribute to different types of health issues.
