What a moment…

As we drove through the eastern part of Mapungubwe, we were coming up to a ridge when suddenly we saw this beautiful Gemsbok - otherwise known as an Oryx - and her calf!

This was actually the first time I’ve seen one of these antelope in the wild and they are remarkably beautiful. These two were very shy, because as we approached, they disappeared into the bush and you would have never have known they were even there.
