Trevor Ngomane known on stage as Desert Gomes, is a dynamic DJ/Producer hailing from the heart of Mpumalanga, Nelspruit. Renowned for his genre-blending creativity. Desert Gomes has carved out a unique space within the South African electronic music scene- Mastering AfroTech, AfroHouse and 3Step Afro with an ever-evolving signature style.

Beginning his musical journey at a young age, Desert Gomes made his official debut in 2020 with the 'Step of the Underdog EP' a powerful introduction to his deep-rooted passion and sonic direction, since the he has released a series of singles and collaboration projects, including his contribution in 'Only a Matter of Time EP' by hypersonic EQ and a feature on 'Way Out' by Absko Alamini

In May 2025, Desert Gomes dropped the 'Words & Voices', a cutting edge Afrotech collection that further cementedhis place among the genre's innovators. Ut his mlst ambitious evolutions yet comes in the form of a self-coined subgenre: *AcuteSound*- a deeply imotive style inspired by nostalgic deep house textures fused with his signature Afro rhythms.

Now with his upcoming 'uKhahlamba EP' set for release in 13 June 2025, Desert Gomes is poised to redefine the boundaries afro electronic music. This new projects serves as a definitive statement of hos unique sound, blending Afrotech and AcuteSound into a bold, forward-thinking expression of who he is as an artist.
