I STOPPED COMPARING MYSELF TO OTHERS 🫣

When I started this venture, imposter syndrome hit me hard. I knew I was good at what I do - but I overthink everything. I designed (and re-designed) countless templates for my online presence, picked apart every little detail, and then spiraled into comparing myself to others in my industry.

I’d judge my work so harshly that I delayed posting anything at all. But then it hit me: every day I waited to “perfect” my socials was a day I could be losing potential clients. So, I decided to just start.

A few posts in, I’ll be honest - I’m still overthinking it. But I’ve realised nothing is set in stone. I can grow, evolve, and even rebrand if I need to. The important thing is: I’m out there, doing it, instead of waiting for perfect.

I’m a qualified Graphic Designer with a deep love for marketing and helping brands show up with confidence, consistency, and heart. Proudly Lowveld born and raised, I’m a wife and mama to a fiercely independent (and wonderfully wild) three-and-a-half-year-old.

My journey began in the newspaper world - four years in design and layout - but I knew there was something more calling me.

That ‘more’ led me into the fast-paced world of marketing agencies, where I spent the last six years growing brands, launching ideas, and learning the ins and outs of what really makes a business thrive. Somewhere in the chaos of client calls and content calendars, I realised I was constantly building up other people’s dreams… while quietly putting mine on hold.

So I decided to change that.
