🟡 A leading Asset and Fund Manager that offers a full range of financial products and wealth management is looking for a Private Equity Accountant to join their team.

The role will involve preparing of management accounts, financial management and reporting of financial data for the business, examining and analysing the company’s accounts and ensuring compliance with financial reporting and accounting standards, specifically relating the Company’s Private Equity arm.

🟡 Requirements:
• BCom Accounting degree or equivalent
• 3+ years’ experience as an Accountant within a private equity / invest firm or similar roles
• Specific experience relating to private equity accounting activities
• Pastel experience advantageous
• Experience in financial analysis and balance sheet recons especially debtors and creditor control.

🟡 Responsibilities will include but may not be limited to:
• Ensuring proper accounting for investment structures, lower tier/subsidiary trial balances, tax blockers and alternative investment vehicles (AIVs), equity method accounting and consolidation
• Reviewing the Administrator’s accounting for investment structures, lower tier/subsidiary trial balances, tax blockers and AIVs, equity method accounting and consolidation
• Performing a variety of accounting, analytical, & financial reporting duties ensuring investor activity reporting is prepared and completed appropriately
• Be technically competent regarding relatively complex transactions surrounding all Private Equity Fund activity capital calls, distributions, investment purchases, divestments, carried interest calculations, expenses, income, gains, fees, ensuring they are executed according to standard accounting policies and procedures
• Ensuring the accounting records of client funds are accurate, complete, and up to date
• Capturing of financial GL entries

The purpose of the role is to provide an exceptional customer experience on every customer interaction, by positively engaging and enhancing customer loyalty and value, through providing solutions and resolving customer queries in an efficient manner.

🟡 Requirements:
• Matric / Grade 12 (required)
• Certificate / Diploma (advantageous)
• Minimum 6 months call centre / BPO / customer service experience
• Experience in voice, chat, email and social media
• Native level / fluency in English (both verbal and written)
• Excellent communication and customer focus (both verbal and written)
• Ability to work rotational shifts between 09h00 to 22h00 (7 x 365)

🟡 Responsibilities will include but may not be limited to:
• Provide outstanding electronic (voice / chat / email / social media) support to their customers by making use of set processes and procedures.
• Escalate all relevant queries to the relevant role players, where applicable.

A leading Asset and Fund Manager that offers a full range of financial products and wealth management is looking for a Learning and Development Specialist to join their team.

The role will involve understanding the organisation's strategy and its future capability, discovering development needs and identifying learning programs, delivery mechanisms and training priorities across the group.

🟡 Requirements:
• Related tertiary degree or advanced certification
• Accredited moderator or assessor has an advantage
• Knowledge of the skills development act and other related legislation
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a trainer role within financial services, specifically investments / long term insurance
• Familiar with content development software
• Proven excellence in your previous endeavours

🟡 Responsibilities may include but will not be limited to:
• Identifying training and development needs within the organisation through job analysis, appraisal schemes and regular consultation with business managers and people practices.
• Developing and implementing graduate programs.
• Designing, producing and expanding on training and development programmes.
• Coaching, mentoring and developing staff, utilising training programmes as an opportunity to motivate employees.
• Presenting engaging sessions using a variety of instructional techniques or formats such as role playing, simulations, team exercises, group discussions, videos or lectures.
• Monitoring and reviewing the progress of trainees through assessments, questionnaires and discussions with managers.
• Creating and managing their relationships with SETA’s to ensure they make use of grants.
• Regularly reviewing the L&D landscape and ensuring training material remains relevant and meets key business needs.
