bills come and bills go, plans in black and white, dedication over motivation. i've always been told that i dream a lot, that my dreams are irrational. and it's crazy that, i still have to carry myself after such conversations, my back heavy with frozen hands and yet, everytime i reach those dreams, nobody will be there to clap so they say "learn to clap for yourself" you've reached this far despite people wishing bad cloud to fall on you and your family to never taste anything better than candies...

i kept it to myself, the fear of losing you. i thought you are different, i thought you'll do better than the last. lights out, spotlight on you. here goes my insecurities again, here goes my insecurities yelling out my trust issues. dirty laundry all over the room, 'close the door as you leave'. i was quick to rush, mouth with no lips. i said too much, i said too much to keep you. if only i had kept my seatbelt tight, i would still have you.
