The much-anticipated Post-Elections episode of Life in Black & White is here! 🗳️✨ We dive into the final election results and what they mean for the future of South Africa's government.

The ANC won only 40.18% of the votes - that's a whopping 17.32% drop since 2021! Now, they're in a "coalition dilemma" trying to decide who to team up with in parliament to hold a majority government. 🤯

Many supporters have flocked to the newly founded MK Party with Jacob Zuma at the helm. Should we be grateful or terrified? Especially since one of their manifesto points is to scrap our beautiful constitution! 🧨📜

Meanwhile, the DA saw a slight increase to 21.81%, up by just 1.04%. The EFF, surprisingly, lost 1.28% of their votes, sitting at number 4 with 9.52%. 📊

Could an ANC-DA coalition be the best way forward? Or ANC-EFF-MK coalition? Or is it better to have no coalitions at all and see how our democracy moves forward with a minority government and a lot more parties earning seats in parliament? 🤔

💚💛 MY BLOOD IS GREEN AND GOLD 💚💛

In South Africa, Rugby is so much more than a sport!

It is in our blood; it is in our spirit. 💚
It brings us together; it unites us. 💛

Even those who do not watch rugby regularly were out in full support of our boys on the fields in France during this World Cup!

This team fought through adversity by sheer will, drive, determination, and most of all, HOPE and BELIEF, to bring home a win for South Africa. 🙌🏼

Through all the naysayers, the ones that doubted the Bokke through games against the top 6 rugby teams in the WOLRD within 8 weeks, criticised the bench choices (because why would a coach choose 7 forwards and 1 back to have on the bench?! Are Rassie and Jacques crazy?), criticised them throughout the tournament and the 1-point leads...

They showed us all that though the road to glory would not be an easy one, they would do everything they could to get the title of Rugby World Champions once more. 🏆

In every post-match press conference, any videos with the Bokke in it, they would always say that this was for us. For South Africa. 💪🏻

And boy, did we feel that belief running through our veins watching them play the most stressful 3 games in the history of rugby. 😱
(Biased? Possibly. Wrong? No.)

They showed us that if we can all embrace diversity and collective strengths, we can accomplish anything. By all logic and reasons, people will tell you that SA should not have won. At Pool stages, we were nearly 'written off' for the rest of the after we lost against Ireland.

But the Bokke said "You will not be rid of us that easy" and persevered.
They beat the odds stacked against them and united a nation. Bringing forth much sought after hope and patriotism for our beloved Mzanzi. ✊🏼

Let's continue to flourish as a nation with a global win on our side, the Bokke grit and determination in our pockets, and their hope guiding us forward. 😍🤩
