From the rugged mountain pass of Namibgrens to the heart of Sossusvlei, today’s solo journey has been a real adventure. 👌🏼

I’ve set up camp at Namib Desert Lodge , where the sites lie quietly along a dry riverbed. The silence of the desert, broken only by the whisper of the wind, gives the perfect off-grid feel under a sky painted with endless stars.🔥

Nearby, the striking red fossilized dunes, ancient, timeless, and glowing at sunset like they hold the memory of the desert’s beginnings. Standing before them is a humbling reminder of just how old and powerful this landscape is. 🏜️

Another night, another story etched in the dust and diesel of this solo adventure.

- NamibGrens, Namibia 🇳🇦

The campsites are tucked among the granite rocks, each with its own firepit and open-air ablutions. It’s the kind of place where you can braai under the stars, wake up to golden light spilling over the mountains and still feel like you’ve got the whole desert to yourself.

• Just 165 km from Windhoek, but it feels worlds away.
• Epic views over the Namib Desert.
• Rock pools & trails for cooling off + exploring.
• Clear skies = stargazing heaven.

My setup here was special. A rooftop tent, crackling fire and nothing but silence broken by the wind. 👌🏼

- The journey begins 🇳🇦

I’ve just set off on a solo road trip through Namibia. Left Windhoek in the morning with no rush, just the open road stretching south and a sense of excitement for what’s to come. 🌍

Pulled over for a break and found myself just standing there, taking in the silence, the endless horizons, and the kind of scenery that makes you feel both small and free at the same time.

The adventure continues 💪🏼

- Going Solo 🇳🇦

Just crossed into Namibia at Buitepos after wrapping up an incredible 3 week adventure through Botswana. 🇧🇼

Grateful for our Toyota Land Cruiser 79. 💪 It’s carried us through thick sand, long stretches of wilderness, and endless dust. Now, it’s time for the open roads of Namibia! 🇳🇦

My first stop, Zelda Game Lodge – a perfect spot to catch my breath and ease into this next chapter.

Can’t wait for the wide horizons, remote camps, and the freedom that comes with solo overlanding. Here’s to new tracks, new memories, and the journey ahead!

- What a trip! 🇧🇼

Our unforgettable trip through Botswana has come to an end at Khama Rhino Sanctuary.

As we celebrate the end of this journey, it feels like we are carrying a piece of Botswana with us, its wildness, its silence, its beauty. 💛

We are thankful that we completed another amazing trip through Southern Africa without any hickups and we can't wait to start the next one. 🇳🇦

This beast is built for adventure 💪🏼

We are really happy with our Land Cruiser and believe we build the ultimate vehicle that suits our needs. However, it's a always-changing project as we upgrade and modify the Cruiser to adapt to our style of Overlanding.

One of our latest upgrades? A set of powerful 9" HELLA Value fit Blade spotlights that completely transform night driving, as well as 4 Black Magic light bars on the roof. These lights offer incredible brightness and durability, making off-road travel safer when the sun goes down. 👌🏼

The HELLA lights are a game-changer, giving us incredible visibility on night drives and remote trails. Paired with the Land Cruiser’s legendary reliability, this setup is ready for anything!

First night at the Nguma Island Lodge campsite in Botswana! 🇧🇼

This campsite is a dream for any overlander, with big open spaces, plenty of shade from the towering trees and the perfect spot to catch glimpses of the sunset as the day fades into evening. It’s the kind of place that instantly makes you feel at home in nature. 🌳

After setting up camp, we wasted no time getting the fire going. Tonight’s dinner? A mouthwatering ‘staan rib’ next to the flames. Nothing beats the taste of a good braai under the African sky.

The crackling fire, the aroma of grilling meat and the peaceful surroundings all together makes this one of our favorite camping spots on this trip.

Nguma Island campsite! 👌🏼

Arriving at this serene spot, we were greeted by a troop of curious monkeys who kept us entertained as we handled some maintenance on the Land Cruiser. 🛠️

Exploring the wild means being ready for anything, and our setup keeps us organized and prepared for adventures ahead.

Nature, wildlife, and a little bit of elbow grease—what more could you ask for in the heart of the Okavango Delta? 😋
