Food has formed a massive part of Team Best over the years - we love to make it, eat it and shoot it.
(Say Food again…Weird word that…Foooooooood…)

brought his visual vibes to this bad boy for one of SA’s true Heritage Brands.

Much more munch…So much more Fun(ch)…Sorry…
Working on genuine heritage brands in SA with such a rich history of iconic Ads…Can be helluva daunting.
All the usual boxes had to be ticked, but we had to ensure we were injecting it with fun and surprises throughout.
It’s a huge integrated campaign with so many moving parts and puzzle pieces, BUT, we got lucky - An agency and client who really trusted us, and collaborated with us, and let us go just a little bit wild.
This piece of work also gained huge traction for the client - millions and millions (and flippen so many millions) of views and shares on the socials. That’s what we’re really proud of.

The Youth.

What even is it? Most of us old farts at Team Best haven’t even heard of it…

But Slick and Unathi … They know things of Youth. Slick took an idea and raised it from the ashes with this piece by The Youth, for The Youth.

Money and time were beyond tight and we needed to cast “real” people, in “real” environments. Even on the crew front - Slick insisted on using young people who are out there doing it for themselves. What emerged is an authentic piece of work that we’re all immensely proud of.

What a ride this was! When you need some tropical Tropika vibes, it’s best to go somewhere properly tropical.

Cue Mozambique. You sexy, sultry, sweaty such and such.

Production value in every direction.
It was full on. Chasing the sun and sweating through the soles of our feet. And also our souls.

Bryan made some deep tunage to carry this bad boy (And even got crafty there by the Loeries Awards).

RIP Ebenhaezer. Thank you for sharing your offbeat genius with us.

We made an thing! 🇿🇦

We really (REALLY) love cars and we love shooting commercials for them. Who wouldn’t love the chance to race about in somebody else’s cars. Go mental, it’s a rental.

An unbelievably enthusiastic crew combined with beautiful, fresh locations and a very trusting client and agency who let us do our thing.

This one has it all: 3 massive shoot days, the most awful weather, many cancelled flights, last minute plan making, hustling and skommeling, traveling many 100s of kilometres and squeezing every last bit of light out the Sun.

Eduan is even more bald now. Thanks for the memories.
