We’re so excited to finally share that Kgorong Film Festival is teaming up with the Made in Limpopo film Hub . This collaboration is about family, community and stories that feel like home. 🖤💛

And to celebrate, we’re kicking things off with a filmmakers-only screening of the powerful film “Sonti” on 23 August 2025.

This one is for the storytellers, the dreamers, the creatives who believe in Limpopo’s voice.

Kethiwe is a veteran film and TV producer with over 30 years in the South African film industry. She has produced:

Durban FilmMart SA 2025 what a journey!

For 5 days, we shared space with passionate storytellers, producers, curators, and creatives from across the globe all driven by one thing: telling our stories, our way.

From deep conversations on impact storytelling and AI in filmmaking, to tough questions about funding, access, and representation it was a space to learn, unlearn, and reconnect with the bigger picture of why we do what we do.

As Leejay Production House, it reminded us that we're not alone in this there’s a movement growing. A movement that says:
"We’re not waiting to be seen, we are the lens."

Grateful to have attended with the support of the National Film and Video Foundation (NFVF).
