𝐍𝐄𝐖𝐒 | 24-year old Qhawekazi Mazaleni from Gonubie, Eastern Cape bags the Miss South Africa 2025 title. She succeeds Mia le Roux, Miss South Africa 2024.

She holds a degree in Speech, Language and Hearing Therapy from Stellenbosch University and is pursuing a Master of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology at University of Pretoria, with a focus on autism and bridging cultural/linguistic gaps.

The finale was held on Saturday, October 25th at the SunBet Arena, Time Square in Pretoria.

Motorists and residents are advised that WBHO Construction will conduct blasting operations on the N2 Southbound as part of the ongoing road improvement project between Leiden (km 59.0) and Camden (km 87.4).

The blasting is scheduled to take place on Thursday, 30 October 2025, between 14:00 and 15:00. During this period, all access roads leading to the area, including the national road, will be temporarily closed for safety reasons.

The blasting will occur on the new N2 Northbound carriageway between Ch65+220 and Ch65+700, and a maximum delay of approximately one hour is expected while operations are completed and safety checks are conducted.

Motorists are urged to plan their journeys accordingly and to exercise patience and caution near the construction area.
